Tik Tok Petition to shutting down app in 2020

An application has been filed within the Multan High Court to shut down the app Tik Tak, which is becoming increasingly popular most of the youth of the world.


According to details, Justice Amir Bhatti has sought reply from PEMRA chairman and PTA chairman within three weeks.
Petitioner Shahbaz Ahmed has filed the petition through advocates Umair Razzaq Bhatti and Faisal Iqbal.
The petition contends that the social media website 'Tik Tak' violates the Islamic provisions of the Constitution of Pakistan, basic human rights and privacy, at the same time as Tik Tak also violates the Islamic Code of Conduct.
The petition further states that tick communicate is also causing objectionable pics and videos of young ladies to head viral.
The petition demanded that Tik Tak be close down immediately.
The Federation of Pakistan, Ministry of Law and Director PTA Zonal Office have additionally been made parties within the petition.
